Greetings, I'm looking for players that are interested in a light-gameplay but high-roleplay system that focuses more on story and character development. The base system I will be using is Tavern Tales , but with some different house rules. If you're worried about complexity, the house rules I'll provide should be fairly simple. This is for people who wish to get immersed in a character without having to worry about a whole lot of numbers and rolling; however some rolling is still present to give some unpredictability and balance to the game. The setting will likely be a general medieval fantasy with certain freedoms. Which means, there's no real restriction to what your character can be as long as it adheres to the setting and is within reason. That said, the GM will make sure no character is ridiculously powerful or impossible to interact in a meaningful way in the world and with other characters. The GM will also try to tailor the campaign around the characters. As for schedules or when we play, it will be discussed and determined if enough players are found to make a campaign. I am open to playing on a "any time the GM and players are ready" basis, or work with players schedules to determine what times to play. This will also be English only. I have Discord or Steam to communicate out of the game; I might set up a discord server if this goes anywhere. To Summarize: Uses a simple, modified Tavern Tales system (link will be provided) Text and English only (No voice required) Serious character and story driven plots instead of complex game mechanics Open and general setting [medieval fantasy], for simple to unique characters Looking for players who: are open minded, have an open schedule, are fairly mature, aren't jerks, take roleplay seriously Timezone: Time varies, specific times may be negotiated Frequency of playing: Any time we're online and feel like it, the game will begin whenever everyone is ready; or on negotiated time. Ideal player #:
At least three to four or five (includes GM). I've actually played many
times with 1 player and 1 gm and had fun. Bigger parties tend to get
clunky and harder to manage. Please do ask questions if there are any. Post below if you're interested, optionally with a very brief comment about yourself, timezone, or anything if you wish.
