Edward , could you clarify the difficulty? Are you having trouble getting images into the game or is the problem elsewhere?
i looked at the tutorial but is it hard to import maps and overlays to this program and how do you clear it once its on the grid?
i am thinking it's me but all the user iterfaces seem non-op so i can't seem to properly set or use any over lays or imports to the grid area? or if i do i cannot edit them at all and it all don't seem to function as the tutorial does? what am i doing wrong?
Edward D. W. said: i looked at the tutorial but is it hard to import maps and overlays to this program and how do you clear it once its on the grid? It's not hard necessarily, it's just that there's two steps involved. The first step is to upload the artwork to your library and then from there, drag it over to the tabletop. Clearing items involves clicking the item and then hitting delete. Drawings can be cleared at once, but it requires the objects to be drawings as opposed to art assets. There's a number of people who would like to help you out, but you're gonna have to be as specific as possible. We don't know what you might be doing wrong until you can describe what you're currently doing. You also might be able to wrangle someone to walk you through the process via screenshare if you're interested.

Edward D. W. , send me a join link and I will come help.
as a product of an analog generation i am learning new computer skills on a daily basis it seems and software is akin to magic to me as for being detailed after looking at this for a few hours i have looked at the user interface but some how fail to grasp all of there meanings or uses, 1st art library, uploading to it is straight forward using it much more complex, removing even harder/ having figured that out, and yes i understand if you draw on the grid to the left a clear drawing from the paint brush icon should remove it. but if to import an image from out side to the library and place it on the grid i was unable to remove it! 2nd the maps and background commands don't seem to work, where do they access images and how does this command work, the dice rolling command works well and how does one connect with others using this medium with voice and video? how does one change the avatar, the least of my issues
Also i realize i am getting help for a base account i am thankfull! if this works as it is toted i cannot see me not subscribing for the concept is stellar.

Edward, by the sounds of things, you might want to take a read through our wiki and maybe watch some of the tutorial youtube videos for a basic primer of how to use Roll20.
