Roll20 Pathfinder Society: #03-02: Sewer Dragons of Absalom (Tier 3-7), Wednesday 12/04/13 @ 9:30PM EST

Hello again! Looking to run another Pathfinder Society scenario this coming Wednesday at 9:30PM EST. In order to play, you either must have a Society legal character in Tier (between levels 3 to 7), or play a pre-generated character (all core classes plus samurai/gunslinger/ninja, can be provided). We will be using Google Hangouts for voice chat, though you are welcome to just 'type it out' on the chat window if that is preferred. Roll20 PFS games are open to new and experienced players both! Any PFS games going on for new characters? I'm getting back into RPGs for the first time since D&D 4th came out (PF wasn't out just yet). I'd like to get into some PFS games, but obviously don't have any characters at 3 yet.

Well... Sean O. runs a PFS game pretty much every week. You can still sign up for this week, but as you see in the first post all the slots are filled and you'd be a backup. Unfortunately, I know this group, and am reasonably sure that everyone is gonna show up on time. Don't let that stop you, however... maybe you'll get lucky! Check the forum next Monday and/or Tuesday and you can get in earlier, hopefully. You don't need to have a character; there are several pre-generated characters available to choose from, many of which are well-designed and fun to play. My first few games with this group were using the pre-gen Samurai and I enjoyed it enough to bring my own character into the game. Each game is played at a certain "Tier" depending on the level of the characters involved; it's something like 1-3, 4-5, 6-7 (I can never remember exactly!) If you play a pre-gen you'd pick one appropriate for the tier played based on what the other players are using. If you want to bring in your own character, and it's never been used in a PFS game before, you'll have to start at level 1 (I'm pretty sure that's how it works.) While this isn't guaranteed suicide at a higher tier (tonight we'll probably be playing 6-7) it does rather limit your survivibility and options for actions during the game. Moftar, my character, is nearing the point where it'll be time to 'retire' him (ie: his level will be too high to play in a 6-7 game) so I've started thinking about bringing in a new character at level 1. Several other players are nearing the same point in this group, so it won't be long before we're playing the low-tier games again. Keep your eyes open, I don't see this group going away anytime soon!

Sorry for the late notice, but I do not think that I am going to be able to run the game this evening. Woke up this morning feeling a little under the weather, and I been feeling increasingly sick the later it has gotten today. If someone is willing to pick this up and GM in my stead, I am able to provide the PDF for the scenario; but I will not be in any condition to coherently run a scenario this evening. If I happen to have someone notify me that they are willing to run this, I will post it here appropriately. Thank you for your understanding.
