Drag and drop player characters

Hi, I'm wondering about something. I'm DMing the premade Storm King's Thunder. When I drag one of the PCs from the journal and drop them on a new page, their token appears without a link to their character sheet. So I have to go into settings and set "Represents Character", set green to HP, blue to AC and toggle "Has sight" every time we use a new page. Have I done some wrong in setting things up, or is this just how it's done? It's so nice with the NPCs from SKT where I can just drag them onto the page with HP and AC all done. Thanks

Follow the directions  here for setting up token's properly.

Ah, right, I see the problem. I had to set up the token fully before setting it in the journal. Thanks :-)
