Friend with low Bandwidth, how to help?

Okay, I have a friend who has low bandwidth 'net connection where he lives, and he reports that when he logs into Roll20, he cannot see the map, and needs to reload the page to see new text posts. Are there any way to adjust settings to allow him to compensate?

Has he tried to optimize his connection. Depending on the Windows (if he is using that), some of them are not truly optimized. Have him google the TCP Optimizer from speednet. It is a good solid optimizer that I've used for years. Has he turned off the camera and voice? That causes some lag along with large maps or many individual pieces on the map area will also. Not that bad now but for some people they still have some problems.

Rolland , please send me a join link and I will check the size of the campaign. It may be that his slow connection is taking a long time to load all of your campaign elements.
