Moving batch images around

" Batch Image Relocation: While you have a collection of images selected, you can click and drag the entire batch to a folder/subfolder in My Library to move all of them at once from one location to the next. Note: Your target folder location must be in expanded state to place images inside it." This is what the wiki says, but... I can't. I can't move the images to any folder, whether it's in the My Library window (It just drops them all behind the window, on the actual board) or in the sidebar (The folder just dodges out of the way, whether or not it's expanded). What am I missing here?

The folder 'dodging' is it make room for the empty box denoting where the selected items are to be deposited. It will only allow nesting in a folder when the folder is expanded and you'll notice that the empty box will be inset slightly to show that it is going in  rather than under  the folder (click image to see short gif):
