Dynamic Lightning Issue

1494016872

Edited 1494016919
When I rebought my Plus membership, all my dynamic lightning settings got boned and seems to be inverted for some reason. even though my players tokens have sight, they still cant see anything and it has been turned on.
Hello devs and fellow users, I'm a player in this campaign. To elaborate further, even though the DM has lights set up on the map, everything remains black as if player sight is set to false, so much so that other tokens are invisible. The GM can see everything, including the function of dynamic lighting for our characters, however, we the players can not see anything at all unless he removes the whole Dynamic Lighting layer. We've gone through all the steps in the help wiki and it doesn't seem to be working. Any thoughts or tips would be much appreciated.
Did you set a range in the light/vision settings? Do you have Fog of War enabled as well? Do the players have control of the tokens?
Yes, yes and yes
Does this issue persist when Fog of War is disabled?
If I disable the fog of war, they see the WHOLE map, everything revealed. WHen I tried a different map, the lighting was like it was inverted.

Send me an invite and then promote me to GM once I've joined. I'll take a look at it and see what the problem might be.
Thanks for everyone's input and advice. Our GM isn't stateside, so timezones can make messages a bit tricky. Sky, Hellucard will get in touch with you tomorrow. Thanks for your offer to help.
Stuff has been fixed. Turned out I am a dum dum and didnt do the first thing a man should do. Refresh the browser. Thanks Sky for the quick help and response. Many hearts and thanks!
To further clarify, Hellucard had logged into his campaign, was running on a free account (subscription had lapsed), renewed his subscription while still logged into his campaign, and was unable to get dynamic lighting to work as a result. Refreshing the tab for the campaign would have updated his status as a Plus subscriber and allowed the dynamic lighting to function properly.
That's a complicated one... Thanks for the help, Sky!
Thank you very much sky and everybody else. It just goes to show that the craziest problems can have the simplest of solutions. Hopefully this thread will help resolve any further issues other plus/pro members have with dynamic lighting in this type of "bug". thanks again all and may the dice be ever in your favor lol
