LFP - Home-brew Game.

hello all. I'm looking for players to try something a little different, a home brew game that I created (not completed) a long time ago. that's kind of a throw back to old school gaming (as far as the rules and dice system go) the game focuses on RP and combat choreographing. its a low fantasy setting with next to no magic, but still has the fantasy element such as non humans and monsters, and while the standard classes are around the game favors more classes like Ninjas, Samurai and martial artists.  I have moved some time ago and have gone with out gaming for far too long and I have been itching to play so this is really my first attempt at trying to find a group to play with online. so I wont be a pro with roll20 and could use help from time to time with it till I learn all I need to  know (but help is always rewarded at some point in game) my games are open ended in the sense that you live out the life of your character make recurring helpful friends (or enemies) not just play the campaign and done.
Sounds interesting, I would like to learn more about it though I am also new to Roll20 however I am experienced with rpg type games my question being is this a D&D like game style of a new concoction you are toying with?
its pretty much a mix of D&D meets a feudal japan type of movie. so there are elfs, dwarfs, orcs and such but a heavy influence of the orient. The biggest difference I could say is mainly the magic as there is almost non and combat is a little more detailed. the game has a history players who have played over the years have had a hand in shaping it in some way for better or worse. and its not some much finished the campaign and on to the next more of, on to the next day.
I see have you looked into the orient books? They have a lot of things like that in them, also would you be allowing the martial adept classes?
i haven't checked out any of the oriental books (though i know they are around) i couldn't say about the adept as idk about it but the game is really flexible when it comes to making your character. i tired to make it have a better flow than arguing over rules and their interpretation of them and it also has its own dice system.

Good site for book info. As for martial adept classes it donations off maneuvers giving melee classes something more that "I hit it with a stick"
yeah that is a sweet site. glancing at the orient book. a lot of the abilities I see are things that in my game would fall under techniques. the "Styles" haven't been invented yet (that was something I wanted the players to make and create as they went along, some even did however their characters didn't focus on teaching it long enough for it to catch on) it's a lot of free form fighting, meaning as long as you have a rating in a skill you can do any type of maneuver as long as its within combat rules(jumping roundhouse or dragon kick for example)   and a lot of the bonuses would be considered specializations in my game (bonuses to hit/dmg)
Cool also check out the tome of battle it's a martial upgrade think of it as magic for fighters in a sense.
Still looking for a few players for this Saturday, scheduled for 1pm (but my plans for that day changed so anytime will work)
