Shoola
the Hutt currently owns and operates the shadowport known as Port Tooga that is
located off the little known hyperspace route called the Death Wind Corridor
that spans between Ryloth and Hypori near the Arkanis Sector (grid S16 on the galaxy map , lower right-hand corner near Wild Space). Shoola’s Mirialans and
Gigorans provide the knowhow and muscle necessary to keep the port operating
smoothly.
The nearby star of the system emits deadly radiation
that few ships and their crew can tolerate for very long. Port Tooga orbits an
unnamed gas giant planet that is protected from the star’s radiation by a
powerful ray shield produced by the space station’s ancient technology.
Scholars admit that they are unsure what ancient alien civilization built the
space station. The
space station has 40 habitable levels with Shoola’s palace on the 40th level. A
central turbolift provides easy access to each level of the station. Internal
docking bays and external docking tubes give Port Tooga the capacity to berth
125 medium and light freighters at once. As
a shadowport, almost anything goes on the space station. The one rule you don’t
want to break while visiting is jeopardizing the physical safety of Port Tooga
or Shoola the Hutt. Shoola the Hutt is the undisputed judge, jury, and executioner for
any infractions.
Port Tooga is a favored underworld hub for trading
restricted and illegal items. More mundane items tend to be harder to come by
and more expensive. The Empire rarely visits the space station.

NPCs on Port Tooga: Sarra:
A female Mirialan and Shoola’s majordomo. She tends to be quiet and observant, but when she speaks it is often with a rapier wit. She looks like a seasoned smuggler. Jad: An older male Mirialan technician that manages
the starship services performed at Port Tooga. He is grumpy, complains, and some say he is quite lazy. Devas: A male Devaronian who has the reputation of
being a dangerous person on Port Tooga. Some say he cheats at cards, but you would never want to say that to his face.
