Hi, my name is Ben, I have run several small Roll 20 games before. I have been away from GMing for nearly a year due to work pressure, but am hoping to get a new game going once per week. Requirements * You must be willing to join a voice chat (probably Discord). Before games begin there will be an OC period for chatting and catching up, then we will proceed IC and try to keep things focused * You must be regularly available for games during the evenings of UK time (obviously things come up and games are missed, but on the whole, you will treat the game as a priority above other non-vital tasks/events). As GM I will endeavour to give 7 days notice prior to my own absences, and expect others to attempt to do the same. Constant lateness or absenteeism will lead to being removed from the active players. * You must be open minded about gaming and GMing. I largely subscribe to the AngryGM ( http://theangrygm.com ) method of running games, but with my own tweaks, because I have been GMing for longer than I have been reading his site. I expect respect for my choices, though I am always happy to discuss anything outside of game time, including rules, my views and anything else (being open minded must always go two ways!). Main Rule * During games, the GMs word is law. Short discussions are always allowed, but if a single point is holding up the game, it will be decided quickly and cleanly by myself, then discussed afterwards, to allow for a consensus to be reached between those who are interested. Going forward, the consensus will be the rule. THE GAME The game will be made up of an opening 'mini-adventure' and the main campaign. The opening adventure will help me find my feet again within a low pressure environment, before we launch into the main campaign. The opening mini adventure will involve pre-generated characters and introductions to what the players can expect once the main campaign begins. I expect this to run for between one and three 3-4 hour sessions. The main campaign will involve a pre-campaign character generation meeting (to allow all players to work together to build a party which works cohesively), followed by the main game. The game is set in a version of the Lone Wolf universe. I am taking some of the lore and a few characters and using them as the setting. However I am not a Lone Wolf buff, I do not know the series fully, so I'll be working partly from the lore, partly from my own ideas. However, you can feel free to bring your own knowledge into the game world, and I will bounce off of it as much as makes sense to me (again, we can discuss this, for the purpose of making the game more enjoyable). No knowledge of the setting is required, it will be covered fully before and during the intro mini-adventure. Contact I need 4-5 players. I'll speak with people over the course of the next couple of weeks, according to my availability. I will respond to all serious requests eventually, so please do not pester me. Send me a message via Roll20/respond to this post, and I will provide further contact details (via Discord, Google Hangouts or Whatsapp, depending on preference). I like to talk with people via a text chat before having them as a player in one of my games, it's not an interview, just a chance to make a connection before the game starts. Finally I am a huge fan of people of every gender classification and life style choice being involved in gaming. The only people I don't welcome are those who try to exclude others from gaming. Thanks for reading!
