Hello everyone, My handle is Onikaze ,Oni for short, and I am an experienced roleplayer currently seeking a weekly game to join. Here is some information about me to give you a better idea as to whether I would be a good fit for your campaign: Age :25 Gender :Male Languages : English (main) /french/spanish/japanese Geographic location: Western europe (gmt+1) Availability : Fridays (17:30-05:00 GMT /12:30pm-12am EST) Saturdays (14:00-05:00 GMT /09:00 am-12am EST) and Sundays (14:00- 02:00 GMT/09:00am-9pm EST) Personality: Positive = Friendly/Imaginative/Relaxed/Jovial Negative = Special snowflake syndrome flares up sometimes, just reign me in if its too much^^ Game experience : D&D 3.5 - as a player only and a while back but just need a 5 min refresher and i'm ready) Pathfinder - as a player and GM , I've spent a lot of time on this system over a few years , created homebrew worlds for it , and even retooled it for a "one piece " campaign friends were asking me to run for them and so on. Golarion is the world I'm most knowledgeable in as well. D&D 5th ed - As a player i've entered three one shots with a barbarian goliath and one with a gnome wizard but I'm willing to learn Others : I've played one shots of other systems such as anima beyond fantasy, mystborn adventure game, D20 homebrews and call of cthulu. Playstyle : I'm adaptable I enjoy playing anything from a BSF barbarian to a GOD wizard. I can enjoy playing almost any role (exept for straight fighter) Although I often go for gishy builds when the right classes are availlable or multiclassing is allowed if i'm not needed in a specific role. Now that you know about me, I am going to list my preferences and deal breakers: Preferences: 1. I enjoy roleplay and story more than I do dungeoneering or random fights so my favorite ratio is 66% story/character development 33% action. Although if the action is not too random and ties in well to the story I can enjoy the game nonetheless. 2. I enjoy leveling up and making my characters progress down a path and so I enjoy it when gm's use story exp rather than ,or in addition to, battle exp as otherwise even though i don't enjoy it much i feel like I need to start fights with everything I see to get anywhere and it also limits creativity in battles as every npc that does not get traditionally dealt with ( death /dismemberment/ko) results in exp loss for the group. 3. I enjoy fantasy in all of its genres up whether high/epic/teen/dark and so on and I enjoy it when GM's put little easter eggs or get inspiration from works in that field , even if just as comedic relief. Dealbreakers : 1.Any dungeon of the week type campaign where 90%+ of gametime is spent in a dungeon dodging traps and fighting. that does not mean a full dungeon session is a deal breaker as long as its not what happens every week. 2. Abusive gm's who try to kill their players with too much enthusiasm. If you group of players aren't leeroy jenkins, it shouldn't be normal for an average of two characters to die each session. GM mistakes in encounter levels happen and thats ok , I just can't deal with a gamethat has that as a constant since I like having my chacracters grow into themselves, without being interupted each time due to bloodthristy GM's To clarify , preferences are just bonus but if you consider your game to fit the description of either dealbreakers please do not respond and I apologise for wasting your time thus far.
Hey! You might be interested in my campaign, check it out: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/77289/hungry-shadows-in-the-yellow-city
yeah sorry I have absolutely no experience with older d&d systems , 3.0/3.5 is where I started^^
I have a mini campaign in 5e running but i think its outside of your availability , 8PM est tonight. Thats 2 am GMT+1
so by mini you mean a short term weekly campaign or a one shot? if one shot then I'm free but if this is weekly its slightly too late for me to be sure I'd make it each time.
My group and DM are looking to add a player, 3.5 and we're welcoming to any level of experience( up to and including total noob or experienced DM). We go by US eastern time (use Florida for reference I suppose) playing once a month on Saturday. It's a homebrew fantasy world at this point, lots of lore and player history. DM isn't a complete jerk, follows the rules and dice solidly (doesn't cheat!) PM me if you would like to know more, we can seat two additional players at this time.
hey tony thanks for the invite but i'm looking for a campaign played at least every other week or more often, once a month makes progression too slow for my tastes.
By the way if i'm offered to play in a pathfinder campaign I might be able to make myself available eu weeknights as well as it is the type of campaign i'd like to enter most.
still no invites for pathfinder?

yeah sure count me in , the time is good for me and you start the week after my exams so ya i'm up for it.
Its on thursdays but managble time slot 18:00-22:00 Shadowrun campaign with Fate rules, if your interested: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/77774/shadowrun-the-enemy
thanks for the invite , but at this point ( Ive joined one campaign) , I'm only looking for a pathfinder campaign. good luck with filling in your last spots though^^
Looking to start up a pathfinder gauntlet campain at anypoint I dont work (Im GMT +8 but literally have no problems playing whenever Im not working as long as its scheduled.) Its pathfinder with slight modifications. As planned it wont be a hack and slash but the point is to see how far the characters will make it in a world where heroes have no special treatment. Cities exist, the world is fleshed out, but your ambition steers the campain. Sessions usually go 4-8 hours 1-2 days a week. if you interested throw me a character concept using the following rules. Pathfinder Character level 5, mythic level 1 (mythic will be slow, likely never rising far above 3 unless you hunt the source) No Occult classes, Gunslinger, or 3pp and summoners are tied to a specific story line, you cant be one without it. 25 point buy, 2 traits, optional drawback for a 3rd, no campain traits, faith traits dont require the faith as gods are dead in this world. Cleric:Your domains are chosen without deity restriction Druid: The remaining duration on your wild shape pauses while in a natural environments.. Inquisitor: Your judgement last 10 mins/level and are usable outside of combat. Rogue:Unchained rogue replaces standard rogue. Summoner:Summon monster (Su) x/Day is replaced with equivalent cure spells x/Day (light-moderate-severe, critical, mass light, ect)
Fridays 9pm-2am EST. Looking for people who know the Pathfinder rules well enough to play, but more focus on Role playing than rules. The campaign is low magic world with a sandbox feel, while providing an overarching storyline. We need people who can make the weekly sessions consistently. New PCs will start out at level 7. alright sadly the two games I'd been picked for ended up as duds , one gm hasn't given sign of life for 2 and a half weeks and I ended up becoming the gm for the other one because the original one left. on this note, I am again looking for a game to join. mostly looking for pathfinder but if the campaign sounds interesting enough I may be willing to play other systems.
hey you could take at this? it is 5e though, i'm not the gm but he is picking the last players tonight https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/79787/phantoms-of-novaria
well thanks for the heads up but I really wanna try and hold out a bit longer for pathfinder before joining a campaign using a different system.
