"In the grim darkness of the of the far future the is only war, and war is sometimes secret. Whilst millions of soldiers defend The Empire of Man in countless warzones across the galaxy, other more insidious forces threaten the very soul of The Empire. I have seen these forces at work eating away at the foundations of our society, I know them well. I fight them daily, I am an Imperial Inquisitor. Charged with rooting out the mutant, the alien, the heretic and any warp-damned influence that dares operate in The Empire. My name is Barabbas Thorn of the Ordo Xenos. The Emperor protects" The game: I'm looking to start up a FATE Core game set in the Warhammer 40k universe for 2-4 players. The players will be the retinue of Inquisitor Barabbas Thorn (npc), as a team heading out on assignment and investigations independently of their patron. One character would have to be an 'Interrogator', an Inquisitor-in-training who would be Thorn's apprentice and nominal leader of the group. Be prepared for adventure, intrigue, moral dilemmas, bizarre characters, questionable choices, profanity and visceral combat. And if its the only way to be sure; virus bomb the planet from orbit! Myself: A 30+ veteran gamer of many a tabletop and MU* with an English accent, a twisted sense of humour and a bag full of FATE points waiting for a hardy group to claim them.
