CLOSED: LFP: Exploring FATE Worlds (reoccuring one-shots; flexible day; flexible time, GM is AEST; Roll20 & Discord)

Edit: New Year, New Games!! Hello 2018. Scroll to the end of this thread to check out our latest games. Our LFG listing is  here and the Discord server is  here . I love the idea of the FATE system but I haven't got much practical experience in it. So I thought I'd start a game to gain more experience and some GM experience, too. I plan for each game session to be one-shots, but to play a new one-shot each week/fortnight. I encourage players to drop-in and out as they wish :3 I know my timezone can be inconvenient, so the day and time that we run games is flexible.

Next game is 23.May 9am (AEST/GMT+10)! I'm unsure on the setting as of now. Check out the Discord or shoot me a PM if you've a suggestion :3 Next game is Blood on the Trail, but it's full up! I had five people contact me via Discord to fill up the spots. Pop into the Discord server and keep an eye out for our next game! EDIT: We're playing a bit more Blood on the Trail again on the 30th, but it's still full up! Keep an eye on the Discord and this thread for when the next free game will be.

Ambitious!  The one-shot you did (yesterday) is sure to go into another Blood on the Trail game for those players?  How long is your session length? Your time is good for the North American Eastern and Central time-zones which correspond to a Monday night at 7 p.m. or 6 p.m.  Points west of there may not be able to get home from work in time.

That's a pretty good break down of the rules, thanks :3 I also like using fate-srd (though having a second window up with Roll20 is always a gamble :P ). We don't have a set session length time - I just sorta go until players start mentioning that they have to go to bed. Sessions tend to end up about 4 hours long, I believe.

Next game is on the 8.June (Thurs) 9am AEST and we'll be playing The Secrets of Cats! There's still one or two free spots for players, so come on in to the Discord and let me know if you wanna play. I *might* also end up running a game on 6.June (Tues) 9am AEST using my homebrew Infinity Fleet setting. It's sci-fi exploration, but with a twist ;)

Next game is 21.June 9am (AEST/GMT+10)! We'll be playing Masters of Umdaar and this time lunarwhaler has offered to GM for us! There's still a few spot open for players, so come pop into the Discord and see what's up! EDIT: Game is full! Next game is 27.June 9am (AEST)! We're playing Morts - a world where the zombie apocalypse is normal and you have the unenviable job of keeping the bad things out. Even if, technically, you're one of the undead yourself... Stop by the Discord or send me a PM if you're interested in playing! This will probably be a two-shot (the second game running the same time a week after).

Hey Pierre! The best way to get that info is on the Discord Server , but I threw the specifics below: Deep Dark Blue is next Thursday or Friday at 7PM EDT. Psychedemia is next Monday (10th) at 7PM EDT.

Deep Dark Blue is running 15th of July 9am (AEST) (that will be Friday for many people). It's being run by Azazoth/TheAeronaut and it still has a few Open spaces! So come pop into the Discord and ask to join up!

There's a game on Wednesday (AEST) of Gods & Monsters and a game of Save Game the week after! Maybe even a continuation game of Psychedemia on Thursday (AEST)! We have lots going on :P

We just finished up a game of Gods & Monsters ! Tomorrow (9am, 20th AEST) the second session of Psychedemia will be running (and hopefully concluding). Up coming (as shown in the calendar one post above) is a game of Deep Dark Blue , then Save Game , then The Small Folk (which is still Open ! ) and finally in a fortnight they'll be a game of the homebrew Daegal Legends .

And I'm back after a uni-induced hiatus. I will be running Aether Sea , hopefully next Wednesday (24th Jan AEST). The game is Open , so come pop into the Discord and ask about joining!
