So, you've been purged and now you're back... Welcome once again to the Guild Living Campaign ! Whether life got busy for you or you just weren't feeling D&D for a while, you got purged from the Guild, but that's in the past! You are always welcome to come back after a purge; after all, that's the whole idea of a come-when-you-can game. To get yourself ready to play once again, you're going to have to follow a few steps: 1. Decide whether to make new characters or to play characters you already had. You can start fresh with level 5 characters if you like, but if you still have the sheets on myth-weavers for your old characters, you are welcome to bring them back (or retire them into new characters above level 5). Therefore, you should first check to see if you still have your old sheets. You can find them by logging into myth-weavers and checking your sheets , or you may be able to find them by digging through the character sheet thread (or one of the archived ones on the campaign forum). Be aware that myth-weavers crashed and lost data from 2016 and 2017. If you have not played since then, some of your character info may have been lost! 2. Review the rules! Some minor changes to the rules may have been made since you left, depending on how long you were gone. Go over the basic rules to make sure everything still looks good. Maybe check the minor rulings  or the patch notes to see if your character build has been affected. 3. If you decide to play an old character, ask a DM if they can find your journal in our Cold Storage . Doing so will recover your sheet exactly as it was when you left and will save you a lot of bother redoing the journal and macros. Most purged PCs should be in there, but if you have been gone for a very long time, it may not be saved. 4. Add your character(s) back onto the census . Fill out all the info just like last time. 5. Double check your journal in-game to make sure it matches your sheet. This includes checking your macros to make sure they work! If you need help with your macros, check the Macros Basics thread and the Guide to Great Macros . If you have any questions about any of these steps, feel free to post them in the Guild Discord chat or in the Questions thread . You can also check the Reference Index for answers to common questions. Welcome back!
