[40k - DW] Is it still updated?

Hi! Recently I started GMing Deathwatch campaigns using the pre-made sheet. Works good, but some situations aren't covered. I want to suggest a few fixes, but it seems that a few people are already making new sheets and the old one was updated half-year ago. So is it abandoned or not?
Are you asking so you can make some fixes/changes, or are you asking for some one else to make the fixes/changes? Nothing is really abandoned here.  As anyone can submit changes, it simply passes from hand to hand.   What kind of changes are you looking at?
Well by looking at the last update date and people making new sheets I thought it is going to replaced anyway, and I have to wait for new one. But since this one is still being updated I see no reason not to request a few fixes. So here is the list: 1. Add the additional number field for extra dice for weapon damage. It will help dealing with Hordes' extra damage and Tearing effect. And it shouldn't be the Additional Modifier window, these should be always kept in weapon's data. 2. Add Roll Initiative button. Typing in roll command slows the pace a bit, and we keep forgetting about Agility Bonus. 3. Make Basic Skills have Basic radio button active by default. It is said in the rules that basic skills like Awareness, Charm, Dodge e.t.c. can be done by anyone regardless of their experience and background. 4. Add section for grenades or at least add precalculated throwing range of 3xSB somewhere near Ranged Weapons. It was not obvious for me where to put grenades since there is no way to immediately show their range without checking character's Strength Bonus first.
Why replace it?  It appears to work just fine since the last update.  Bu maybe I am missing something. You can make a macro that all the players can use.  Especially useful if its a token action. Are these basic for all the kinds of characters of just the Space Marines?  The GM will make many more characters and monsters than the players do, and these characters may not have the same basic skills. I don't understand the confusion about where grenades go.  They are thrown, ergo they are ranged.  All making an auto-calc field does is stop flipping to the previous tab. However, I have adjusted per your requests and have it displayed in this  test campaign .

Looks good. Just add same + Dam field for Ranged Weapons and fix STR Range, so it would actually show the range. And make font for Initiative bigger. It is so small I didn't notice it first time. It is said in the Core book: "Basic Skills are ones that virtually anyone may attempt, regardless of their experience or background", so it is not only for Space Marines. And it is still better to create a character and adjust a few of his skills if needed, than create all characters and switch all their basic skills. Also I forgot about current number of clips for ranged weapons. There are 2 fields for clips, but we use it as max clip size and current clip size. So 3rd field for current number of clips in character's belt would come in handy. Can't wait for the sheet update! It will be awesome to start new campaign with updated sheet. :)
Just looked at test campaign. Looks great. Now the only things left are +Dam for Ranged, fixed STR Range and number of clips. And I think you should put the switch button on the bottom of the skill list away from possible misclick. When the sheet is going to be updated on regular server?
Still tinkering with something.  Sorry for the delay.  I will get back to you when I done handling my current issue.

So how is the progress? How is the tinkering going on?
Not to add to the to-do pile, but I notice that Skills are using 0 as their base number before the asked modifier instead of the associated Characteristic, I'm assuming that was something that got tweaked by mistake while you where rooting around through the code? Also if I could make a request, would adding a size modifier pull down somewhere in the sheet be a lot of work? It's really nice for non Astartes NPCs, as I use the sheets for enemies and allies, not only PCs. The Only War sheet had such a function, and I really enjoyed it. Not sure if you are same author as the Only War sheet though, either way thanks for all the work you put in to fix these sheets and keep them up to date.
Still working, and I will look into it

Sorry to add to the pile, but there seems to be some stuff that came up during a DW campain I am currently part of: A: Characteristic advance dropdown includes " Proficient" which is non existent in the Rulebook, and Expert should only give +20 not 25. B: Characteristic advance dropdown for Toughness does not add to the Toughness calculation in "Armour and Defence" on 2nd page. C: Please make Unn. STR Bonus in Melee weapon tab Editable, Things like Thunderhammer and Powerfist give diffrent Unn. STR than what your character has. D: Please add another Number thing to each Location for Locational Toughness bonus from Cybernetics, or make Total Value Editable.
My eyes were bigger than my coding stomache.  I was in the middle of making the cortex sheet, upgrading the Scion sheet, and upgrading the Cyberpunk sheets.  And normal life.  So, this is taking far longer than I wanted.  Sorry for the delay.
Okay, I need to know something: which Warhammer 40k books/character sheets use the same rules and which ones do not?  I know there is a 1st and 2nd edition, but I don't know if Dark Hersey, Only War, Black Crusade, Deathwatch, or Rogue Trader are all 1st Edition or not.
