Problems with drop-down menus in token properties

Hi everyone! When I'm in my GM role, double-clicking a character token allows me to link bar values to specific character attributes, such as hp, speed, hp_temp, etc. My players were telling me they couldn't see that option, and rejoining as a player (with a token assigned to myself), I can see what they mean; the drop-down menus aren't there to pick from. This means that although players can still click the red circle and use +x or -x to change the values in it (or set them to begin with in their token sheet), they can't auto-set the initial values based on their character's attributes by using the drop-down menus, since they don't exist in the player interface (the bar sections also have icons that don't show up in the GM interface: A heart, a lightning bolt and a health/pulse icon). After rejoining as GM, the drop-down menus are still gone from the token I had assigned myself. Even after removing myself as a "Controlling Player" and reloading the page, they're still gone! It seems that to get them back I have to delete that token and add a new one that hasn't been previously assigned to me. I would definitely prefer for my players to be able to pick from the drop-list themselves if they wish. Is there a way to make this visible for them, and to restore it on tokens such as the one I had previously assigned myself?

There isn't a way to expose that configuration directly to players. The API (a Pro Subscription Perk) has some ways to let players set it. Really, it shouldn't come up too often once you have setup tokens assigned as default tokens on characters.  As for the other issue, try reloading the page and see if it properly restores the dialogs.
Ohhhh! Just used the tip about setting a default token; I didn't have that set until now. That should solve it nicely. A+ solution! As for the other issue, reloading didn't help (it seemed to be saved to the token permanently), but with default tokens in place that will be a non-issue anyway. Thanks for the super-quick reply!

No worries, glad you got it working! &nbsp; This wiki page goes into some detail about the process and some considerations for monsters (mooks):&nbsp;<a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Linking_Tokens_to_Journals" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Linking_Tokens_to_Journals</a>
Brilliant :) I've now got that open in a new tab. Many thanks!
