[LFDM] D&D 5e. Four friends looking for DM to test waters for the first time.

Hey all, my friends and I are looking for a DM to guide us through our very first play through of the game and see if we are interested and making it a weekly thing.  I am the only one with any Tabletop experience at all playing 3-4 weeks of Star Wars: Edge of the Empire, and that was multiple years ago.  We are all age 25+ and US based.  Looking to play on Monday the 12th (to give you time to set stuff up as well as busy schedules to slow down finally). We want to start at around 6-8pm EST.  I told them we may need to make characters, but they are all fine with just choosing out of pre-made ones as well just to get a feel for the game if that is easier for you.  Thanks for your time!

Actually, I would be quite willing to run you through an adventure. This first adventure would be quite railroady, but after this first one, if all works out well, I may make a full-blown campaign. I am a 27 year old who lives in the Netherlands. With the proposed time, I could play Wednesday or on weekends. I would like to confirm one thing: You are all friends, known each other for a while and thus play well together, right? I look forward to your response.

Yea I understand completely about first one being railroady. Those times are not really good for everyone in the group, but we may still have interest in the first one so they can try it out. We have all been friends since high school or longer and play video games weekly.

My apologies, I had my time conversion off. Unless you are willing to play in the morning/early afternoon, I will not be able to make it. I wish you luck with finding a GM that fits.

If you guys are still trying this out, I can run you guys through at least one session on friday or saturday evenings. I'd be more than willing to turn it into a full fledged campaign, if that what you'd want, but if the times don't fit, no hard feelings. Finding people with similar schedules can be a nightmare.
