The game started off with the players talking with Keerlese Favoredarm on the top floor of the guild hall. She suggested that the most intelligent decision might be to turn themselves in for each other’s bounties. That way, they could lure out the people who placed the bounties in the first place, make some money, and also have guild legal representation in regards to their warrants. She also praised their actions and made it clear she knew they’d been doing the right thing in guilds town, even if it didn’t seem like it. Out in the streets guards were gathering, shouting for the party to turn themselves in. They had Reis in custody. Meanwhile, Rurrick went to make sure Kaaska wasn’t currently after a bounty (he wasn’t). Keerlese went to the window in her room to address the crowd, they were shouting for her to turn the party over by first name. She threatened retaliation should any of the guard refer to her by anything other than Guild Master Favoredarm. Seeing the mob, the party decided it was a good time to turn themselves in to the Bounty Hunters Guild, by way of the commissary and the guild lounge, where the bartender was apparently also their legal council. The party went down to the Basement Level 1, and Ailekk talked to the Aarakocra store proprietor named Craark. After perusing the inventory, they went into the bar and talked with their legal counsel Falzan Flynrich. They turned themselves in and spent 3 days in jail. Day 1 & 2 Through letters from Falzan, they learned that Dead Man’s Grace made an attack on the Serpent’s Kiss cult (Yuan-Ti), killing 12, and the cultist lady from the diplomat’s guide sought an audience with the party. The Claws of Tiamat sent messengers out asking for aid from local allies, but they were caught. Meanwhile the Cult of Vane (Nard worshippers of Dravens) sent a request for assistance to Breschka and Oron back in Dravens Port. On the second day the Yuan-Ti and Dead Man’s Grace began attacking the guards, killing 5 and wounding 4. It is rumored the Claws of Tiamat continued to send requests for aid. Meanwhile Jebb, confessed leader of the Cult of Vane, turned himself into the local authorities. Mistress X came and talked to the party, letting them know the Yuan-Ti would potentially help them fight the Dead Man’s Grace. On the third day, Serpent’s Kiss attack the guards killing 5 and wounding 7, meanwhile the Cult of Vain began attacking the guards as well, killing 9 and wounding 5. 8 members of Dead Man’s Grace were caught fleeing town. The party was visited by Priest Hunvik, Father Bigmug, Lindal, and Eldon who were apparently the ones who placed the bounty out on the party. After the attack in the church, as soon as Bigmug found out he began trying to find the party. He had already connected with Lindal and Eldon as friends/allies of the party. The four of them quickly put out a bounty on the party, knowing that getting them to the Bounty Hunter’s Guild would be the best way of keeping them safe. Ailekk seemed a little put out by the news. Early on day 4 they received word that a well known bounty hunter was bringing in the Flame of Ruara. Swell came into the cell to let everyone know that a leader from Dead Man’s Grace had been captured. Just then they heard screams from the cell block to the north. The party emerged, to fight the Shield of Ruara and the Flame of Ruara. The Shield used a terror effect while the Flame began frying everyone using flame strike. Rurrick turned into a constrictor snake and grappled the Flame, keeping him in place and constricting him. While many of the guards were fried beyond recognition and Cassius got damaged pretty severely, overall the fight went well. The NPCs never even got Rurrick out of his first beast shape. Afterwards game ended.
