[Pathfinder] How to use the standard pathfinder character sheet?

So, I'm new to roll20 and pathfinder both. I'm also potentially just too stupid/lazy/frutstratable to figure out how to do more than what I consider basic in a program like this. I've tried reading the wiki and I've tried searching these forums and youtube or something for a straightforward/video tutorial on how to fill out the sheet in its entirety, but I've found nothing. So maybe someone knows of something like that, or maybe someone can just tell me why I'm stupid and why it's actually very easy.

For starters, I don't know how to get my racial modifiers to ability scores, will saves, etc. I'm a gnome witch, and one of those gives modifiers. I can manually edit the ability scores to reflect that, but I cannot edit something like the will save. So I'm assuming there's a way to add my racial/class base stuff. Perhaps it's in the abilities/feats section.

I don't know how to do anything in the abilities/feats section. This part really makes me feel stupid because I'm sure it has to be easy enough. Is there like a search function for listed abilities/spells/feats/whatever? Or do I have to manually type out the name, function, stats, etc. for whatever my character can do?

I've really just put in the basics of my character, i.e. the base stats and skill stuff. I think I'm just surprisingly bad at technology for a 20 something year old. I always enjoy writing things out versus stuff like this, and I'd honestly rather just do that if I didn't think it would slow things down for my friends who are probably more competent.

No worries Dan.  The Pathfinder sheet can be rather daunting a first use.  It's a complex sheet built to handle a complex game...

Make sure you are not using the simplified mode of the sheet (this is mainly used after you have finished editing and want to see only the most important fields). The "Mode" button is next to the PF logo.
Saves; On the class grid (Core|Class, Race, Experience|Classes and Level) you can enter whatever you need to for saves(last 3 columns, Fort, Ref, and Will)  You can also make changes to saves on the Defenses page.  Make sure to check "Show More Fields" to expose more columns.

On that note there are some more advanced areas of the sheet such as macro-text and user-definable columns.  You can show/enable these advanced areas from Settings|Sheet Configuration|Advanced.  You probably won't need that for now, but if/when you need to customize the sheet rolls/macros or if you need to add macro-based modifiers, you will appreciate having access to these areas.

For abilities; You can Add and a new ability and drag/drop Feats from the Pathfinder compendium, but you will probably need to manually add and edit other types of abilities. Use the "Rule" to select what the ability is based off of, ie Class Feature, Feat, trait, etc. This will also "sort" your abilities into the different sub-tabs.  Use the "Show" option so the ability will been seen as an option when using the Abilities menu button from Buttons section found near the top of the sheet.  Menu Buttons allow you to make rolls directly from chat without having to make the roll directly from the sheet.  Very handy.

If you are a Spell user; enable/show the spell section from Settings|Sheet Configuration|Spells|Uses Spells.  This will reveal a spells page where you can enter your spell  casting information and spells. Make sure to fill in the top section for Sync class and level as well as your spell casting ability.  You can also drag/drop spells from the compendium btw.  ;-)

Post back as you need help.  There are lot's of helpful people here.  Cheers.
