I haven't any posts about this topic or I just missed them but: So I was Building a map and wanted to throw in a few Drow. But the roll 20 Compendium doesn't have links for all the different drow just the base one. The other 3 drow monsters are missing. Also looking more into it a beholder family line isn't there and a handful of other monsters are also missing. Also a lot of spells are missing to from the Compendium. i love the drag and drop the Compendium but without even the base monsters for the 5e monster manual or the spells from the PHB. Can tax a DM or players I know the store offers a MM for sale but I already own the books. Is there a reason the Compendium hasn't been update to have all the monsters and spells for the base MM and PHB?
Silvyre said: The 5th Edition SRD Compendium can only contain information (such as race and class options, feats, spells, treasure, monsters, etc.) that is located within WoTC's Systems Reference Document . If WoTC releases more SRD content under an Open Gaming License, you can count on that being added to the Compendium.
so then does buying the Monster Manuel from the market place have all the monsters. Such as beholders and the different drow? or is it missing a lot of stuff?
You'll get everything that's included in the book. https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/bundle/3/monster-manual
The Roll20 version of the Dungeons & Dragons fifth edition Monster Manual will expand the D&D 5th Edition Compendium to include all content from within the book. More on the wiki: https://wiki.roll20.net/Monster_Manual
any plans for the PHB and the DMG?
Guider said: any plans for the PHB and the DMG? I can't say. The roll20 Devs would have to comment on that.
Guider said: any plans for the PHB and the DMG? Here's what the Dev Team is able to disclose about future WotC releases . (It's worth noting that Curse of Strahd, which Nolan mentioned in the March Roundtable, is now available for pre-order !) Announcements for future releases will be made here on the forums, as well as Roll20's Blog , Twitter and mailing list (which you can sign up for here ).
