Handout-capacity?

I'm awfully sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question - I'm not even sure if this is a technical problem. I tried to reveal new information to my players, switching more text from the GM-section of one handout to it's player-part, but it wouldn't let me copy it there. I can't write in it, either. Then again, with roughly around 14 pages (~5.000 words) there's an awful lot of text in there already, so I just wanted to ask: Is there a limitation on how much text one handout can contain? If so, how much would that be? And if there is, I gotta wonder: Why?
Hi Chrysalis, I am sorry to hear you are having issues with the handouts currently. As it stands we do not have a limitation on what you can add to the handouts. However, the more data (text, images, etc.) you add could cause significant slow down. This is based off of how the data is moved around in our system. I have brought this up to the devs so it is on our radar :) In the meantime I recommend that you attempt to break up larger handouts such as the one you mentioned. All the best!
