Welcome to The Padded Room.
Having been a roleplaying cohort for many moons our small
band of adventurers has decided to expand with a new project designed to create
a small dungeon crawling community. We realise there are a lot of players,
experienced and new, who are finding it difficult to find the right group for
them. We’ve realised that in a server of dozens of more individuals it’s a lot
easier to connect with likeminded people and so our server would have a general
chat but also channels for different groups playing different roll20 games. As
the name suggest we aim for this server to be open to most applicants and if
you make it to the interview stage we’ll be happy to hear your suggestions.
Obviously this won’t be a server exclusive to roleplaying
and will have chats for various DND and non-DND discussion. This application is
also an opportunity for any potential DM’s who wish to run their new game to
have other DM’s to ask for advice across the server. Those who apply as DMs
will only increase the number of players we can have within the community but
remember you join as both a DM and a player if you wish to start playing down
the line. Generally we’re pretty laidback and don’t have rules per se however
if anyone is being a bigger dick than me and unfunny we will have to consider
removing them.
However general guidelines include:
Try not to intimidate other members
Let other people have their say
Dark humour should be kept between those who
enjoy it
Any issues other members take them up with the
Mods not them
If you plan on attending a session notify others
if you suddenly can’t make it
