Hey everyone. I've recently convinced my brother to try out some D&D and am currently looking for a game to introduce him to the cult hobby. Some specifics on what we're looking for: A game on weekends around noonish NZT. That's Friday or Saturdays for our American friends. 5e D&D. (Some light to medium homebrewery is fine.) A DM who's philosophy leans towards the rule of cool rather then strict adherence to rules minutia. A cohesive story, with enough room for player agency not to appear railroady. A little about me. I've been playing 5e for about a year now and consider myself fairly prolific D&D player. I'm a descriptive roleplayer rather then an emotive one. I think I'm fairly easy going and relatively entertaining. (Atleast I like to think so. =P). I'm most experienced playing Bards, Clerics and Fighters. (In that order.) If you have any queries, I'll be happy to anwser them here or via PMs. Thanks for reading.
I had to do some math. But. I'm on Eurotime (GMT+2) so you wonderful chaps are 10 hours ahead of me. Noon would be in the dead of the night for me. BUT. I can probably do a game saturdays around this time (7PM your time). I have a complete homebrew campaign with few but distinct rule changes (mostly character generation), with a rich background, metaplot and sandboxish in apparoach. You can indulge yourself in feudal , politcal or strategic themes or just be plain folk heros. up to you. Rule of cool is how i run games and while i can give players a guiding hand in the world, i somewhat expect them to leave an imprint with their characters.
Hey Kalle. Sincerely thanks for the offer, however both me and my brother have prior engagements on Saturday at that time, otherwise we'd definitely be interested. I've played with a few Euro players and yeah I understand, timezones are a real bother. Again, thanks for the generous offer.
