Anyone interested in Storytelling a World of Darkness game?

95 percent of the games here are D&D it's very saddening. Finding a non-hack and slash, non-loot gathering, and a dramatically enriching game with legs (ST and players sticking around) seems almost impossible. Am I alone in thinking this?
Very saddening indeed. I've put a group together, and recruiting others, that play a wide range of games. 99% non-D&D. If you're interested send me a PM. Thanks, Tet
Did you two start a group? Are you looking for Old WoD or New WoD?
This sounds interesting to play
Looking for an ST preferably for Demon the Descent or Beast the Primordial.
Hope you guys can find if you do count me in been wanting to play a world of darkness game....hopefully before I die.
Am going to be starting a VtM game soon. Just doing some more research first before I post it. What times would work best for you folks for an every other week game?
My only availability as a player is Friday night 8 to 9pm, which will depend on how this Iron Kingdom game I will be trying out works out. Also do you mean V20 and COFD Requiem 2nd?
It will be a V20 game set in Seattle. Am working on the write up and will probably be posting the game in a few days. Only seeking 4 players so can be small and intimate story.
Well as someone who has seen a lot of games die because of no shows I'd err on the side of a 5 to 6 player troupe. Don't like OWOD game engine anymore. So I'm probably out.
I've been looking for a WoD game for a bit. If you're needing a player, I'd be happy to apply. I haven't played any Storyteller/WoD games, but it's a system and setting I'm eager to explore.
Once the post is ready will also link it here. What days/times works best for you?
Wednesday and Thursday are my best days, I'm off both of those days. Other days i think I can be flexible to accommodate others' schedules.
Wed are out for me. Every other Thursday might be possible. Also considering weekends during the day or mornings every other week to accommodate some other players
"Heerumph!" for Kaan E.
I'm flexible and even if I can't join in, I hope people expressing interest will inspire more story tellers.
Some or none of you may be interested in a game I am starting soon. It is a nWoD game set in the Witcher game/book theme. Will primarily be using the Chronicles of Darkness rules plus those from Hunter: The Vigil and Mage: The Awakening to represent various types of characters. I will also be adding and subtracting a few things here and there that won't work for the setting and to ensure that elements necessary for the setting are present. The game is set in roughly the same time period as Geralt's adventures, however, it is set on a continent across the sea from the "Unnamed Continent". The setting, which I am building mostly from scratch, will have a comprehensive timeline, details on empires/kingdoms/countries of all types as well as significantly more in-depth information pertaining to the local area, regional area, and anything outside of that will be fleshed out with what might be relevant but far less precise. The style of game is rather nice and I have used it successfully once, in which the game utilizes one or more GMs, a chat medium like Discord, and then Roll20 to provide storytime for everyone and anyone throughout the week. This style is not for everyone, but people who had erratic schedules or trouble attending games on a regular, weekly or bi-weekly basis tend to find it convenient. It is also rather nice for people in less common time zones. I do tend to try and 'vet' my players somewhat so that I get at least people who seem to be serious about the game, have reasonable or at least regular hours of activity, are articulate when they write (as the most everything is done via text to accommodate for the game style), and do try to assist new players and new GMs who may wish to run stories and help build the world get acclimated and have fun. If you want to check it out, this link should be sufficient: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/83477/the-witch... I'd be more than happy to answer any relevant questions so feel free to inquire if you want.
Robert S. said: "Heerumph!" for Kaan E. I should've stated I'm interested in NWOD rather than OWOD. But I'd be interested in OWOD werewolf with some house rules. :p
What house rules would you prefer? I've yet to play a Chronicles or oWoD game, but I've heard people have divisive preferences.
I just want to be player. My Storyteller plate is full.
As promised, linking the game I will be starting in two weeks here. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/83835/seattle-by-night-feast-of-shadows
