Looking for Mentor

Hi, I am completely new to tabletop DnD and am looking for someone to show me the ropes as it is something I have always been interested in but for some reason never tried. Please take pity on a later comer such as myself. Thanks in advance Dan

Anyone else up to helping out a complete beginner?

Hey there Dan. &nbsp;I'm one of the DMs for the Guild Living Campaign. &nbsp;We are a community of D&D4e players who play in a format where there are multiple non-mandatory games a week being run by our 20 different DMs. &nbsp;For a beginner it can be a really cool way to experience a ton of different DMing styles. &nbsp;We also provide all the materials you would need to play including PDFs, a searchable compendium for all the rules, video guides and FAQs for playing. &nbsp;The Guild is designed to be something that new players can jump into (as long as they are willing to do a bit of reading) and come out the other side quite knowledgeable about the game and their preferred styles. &nbsp;After you get to know the community you can also try your hand at DMing (but there is no pressure) if you like. Hello Dan. I took a peek at your profile and saw you are another BFRPGer, so it says, so I would suggest you drop a pm to&nbsp; Gold as he runs that system also. I run Basic Fantasy RPG also but I do it only in text, I don't use voice option, but if you are into text games, drop me a pm also.
