Help with linking handouts and similar stuff.

Hello guys, I've seen some videos on the subject but in those videos it's used brackets to link handouts but for some reason it does not work on my campaign. Can somebody help me?

Brackets around the name of a handout or character will link to it. So, if you have a character named "Bob the Slayer", you can reference them in a handout/s notes & gmnotes or a character's bio & gmnotes like this: Players then meet with [Bob the Slayer] for a quick exchange of mission details. If there is more than one thing with a given name (say a handout and a character both named "Bob the Slayer"), you can either temporarily rename one, create the link, then name it back, or find the Handout or Character ID and build a link using that as either: http://journal.roll20.net/handout/<HANDOUT ID> or http://journal.roll20.net/character/<CHARACTER ID> Once a link is created, you can edit the text of the link and it should preserve the url.
Mmnn still doesn't work, I put the brackets but when i save changes only appears the word with the brackets but not as a link. :S

Are you certain you're typing the name precisely? Try copy pasting the name and putting that in the brackets. Screenshot?

Ha! He must be a computer networking guy. The OSI model for computer networks has 7 layers, with the user being above the 7th layer, hence the 8th layer. =D
