Erase Tool?

So I just started mapping here and I drew a box to represent a small room. Then I drew a table in the small room. Then I thought "Wait, the room needs a door!" But I can't erase sections of the wall, I can only delete the entire wall. Is there a way to delete just one section of something?

No, you cannot delete sections of a drawing. Roll20 uses Vector rather than Raster art drawings. One of the disadvantages of Vector is that you cannot erase (at least not simply) a piece of a drawing. The main advantages are that it is crisp and clear at all zoom levels and that it takes far less resources.
Well, I'll deal with it for now. Maybe I'll start importing images eventually. Thanks for the help.

I suggest drawing smaller sections. Polygon/line is probably the single best method for drawing things in Roll20. Example: A room would be 4 (or more) lines. If you dont like one line you can simply delete it and replace it.
That's another problem I was having, actually. Using the Polygon/Line tool, I drew a three wall fence, but if I tried to select anything that was in the fence, it would also select the fence because the blank area between the walls was considered part of the fence. I guess I have to just stick to single lines

What zoom level were you at?
I tried a few different zoom levels, I think. One really close to try to click on a specific line rather than dragging to select, and my further out zoom that I normally use to see more stuff.

100% is usually the best zoom level for selecting lines. If you would like send me a join link and I can come take a look at your setup.
I sent you a link in a PM if you want to look at stuff. I'm still pretty new to the system so I'm trying pretty hard to work out how everything works. My first session went pretty well, though, I really like the setup here. Just need to get all of its pieces under control.

If you use a solid background colour, you can draw a box of that colour over the line where the door should be. Or you could find a small, simple pictures suitable for use as an archway, door, etc. and when you draw room, just place copies of those pictures over the area you want to be a doorway.
If I start using fancy pictures in an overlay type deal it might solve the problem, but just drawing extra lines over the first lines makes for a messy field, I think.
