[LF3M] [5E] [7:30PM EST Weds (flexible)] RP-heavy unorthodox campaign looking for players

Hey fellas, We are looking for players for a series of one-shots set in a dark, horror-inspired setting . The game will put more emphasis on roleplay than combat, but the focus will vary as the campaign progresses. The structure of the campaign will be different than what you may be accustomed: the story will be told as a series of one-shots that will shape the overarching story . Your character will sometimes change as the focus of the story moves across the continent, but there's the chance to revisit former characters and perhaps have some of them carry over from adventure to adventure. Games will be held on weekday nights, starting around 7-7:30PM EST . Usually Wednesdays, but it's flexible.  Rolling characters will have some restrictions depending on the story of the one-shot, to fit the plot better. The current story places characters as investigators, researching the appearance of strange creatures across the land and a string of grizzly murders. For this story, the Human race and divine classes are encouraged, though other options are available (more info can be given if you want to know). In any case, to apply, please PM me . We could do our first game today or tomorrow if we get a group going.
Serious question. Why not just play Call of Cthulhu? Also, Your character will sometimes change as the focus of the story moves across the continent, but there's the chance to revisit former characters and perhaps have some of them carry over from adventure to adventure. Does this mean that you would play an assortment of different characters?
It won't be all grimdark horror, however. Just part of the puzzle. And yes, you'll be playing different characters, but there's a chance some of them will move on from adventures to adventures.
