PLAYING DIFFERENT AGENCIES This hub is supposed to be a gathering for players and handlers interested in playing scenarios involving Agents recruited by the Program, however other government organizations around the world are devoted to fight or study the Mythos. The idea to create a different hub for every agency is to help other players find their "flavor" of Delta Green. If you are interested in playing a different faction, like the unsanctioned "Outlaws", the British "PISCES", the Canadian "M-Epic", the Vatican "Congregation", the Chinese "Xiafeng", the Japanese "Kurotokage", the Russian "GRU-SV8",... Officially created in 2012, has been more or less active since March 2001, when former Delta Green agent Forrest James had took control of MAJESTIC-12 (MJ12) at the end of the Delta Green-Majestic 12 war. Before that there was only one group that was, unofficially, known as Delta Green. If you are interested in playing a game of delta green set in period before March 2001, you are more than welcome to post the announcements for your games in this group. However, I would ask you to specify in the title in which time period are you planning to set your games using one of the following tags: [WWII] - for any game set between the creation of the P4 division in 1917 up to the end of the second world war or 1947 [COLD WAR] - for any game set between 1947 and the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962-ish (I know the Cold War lasted longer, it's just for tagging purposes) [THE FALL OF DELTA GREEN/TFoDG] - for any game set in the 60s up to the official deactivation of the Delta Green classification in July 1970, following the events of Operation Obsidian in Cambodia in 1969. [THE COWBOY YEARS] - for any games set between the 70s and the assassination of Major General Reginald Fairfield in 1994. [CLASSIC/OLD] - for any games set between 1994 and 2001 (the original delta green campaign setting for CoC) [MODERN/NEW] - for all other game If the tag is omitted the game is assumed to be set in the [MODERN] era and the Agents are supposed to be part of the Program. TL;DR: Please try not to post LFG in this group, if you are looking to play other agencies besides the Program. It's ok to post if you are looking to play a scenario that: involves agents from the Program and other agencies collaborating together against a common threat (PISCES has sent to the US two of their best agents to help stopping a Deep One threat involving ex-members of the IRA) If you are looking for players for a scenario set in a different historical period (classic, cowboy years, etc...
