Need one more player for D&D 5E Homebrew

When:Saturday nights 5 PM PST til 12:00-1:00 AM PST Campaign:D&D 5E Homebrew Group level: 5 th 3 players Tech: Roll 20 and Discord—voice only, no video.Sessions are recorded. Who are we? We are an established experienced group looking for 4 th and final player for a D&D 5E homebrew campaign. We’re all about having fun and exploring a fantasy world together where the players have as much input into the world as the GM. Current group met about a year ago through ads on GIANTITP and Roll 20 and have been playing regularly so we need someone who can commit to EVERY Saturday night. We rarely miss a session so be sure you can commit. On occasion life gets in the way so we understand if you can’t make a session. Gameplay: We play a semi serious game usually staying in character for the most part but it is easy going and fun. There is a solid mix of roleplay, combat and storyline as well as character development. Some nights may be filled with combat while other nights there are just roleplay and storyline. All of the players have created backgrounds which I as the GM weave into the storyline. The players have the freedom to choose whatever quests/paths to take and are never “lead by the nose”, meaning they are presented with several scenarios but are free to choose some, all or none or even create their own path to follow. Technology: We use Roll 20 but mostly for visuals, maps, handouts etc., but basically we use theater of the mind. For voice we use Discord and we do not use video. The sessions are recorded and may be posted on Youtube at some point. World: The world is a homebrew realm created by a veteran GM who also creates the majority of monsters that you will come across which does add quite a bit of mystery and uniqueness. The world itself is massive with various environmental areas to be explored and currently the group has only explored 1-2% so far. The world is populated with countless races, monsters and civilizations—some friendly, some not so friendly. Magic: The use of magic is favorably accepted in most places in the world with a few rare exceptions. Magic items are unique and the majority are created by the GM, with some created for a specific character. For the most part magic items cannot be purchased at a local magic shop but on occasion the players have come across traveling vendors who offer items of magic for sale. Potions and scrolls are more common and can usually be purchased at local temples, shops or from resident spell casters in cities and towns. Of course magic items can be found in dungeons, ancient cities/temples etc. through adventuring within the realm. Who are we looking for? Someone who wants to have fun exploring a new world and can play well with others. Someone who can commit to a weekly Saturday night and stay up late. Someone who is not a rules monger. Someone who likes a good mix of roleplay, storyline and combat. Someone who puts time in a background and develops their character. Someone who is experienced in D&D 5E. Someone who is mature and over 18. Someone who is familiar with Roll20. Someone who is ok with the sessions being recorded. Someone who realizes it is only a game. Tell us about you, your experience, your personality and why you would be a good fit for this group. What do you like in an RPG? What don't you like? Feel free to ask questions about the game, the players etc. I prefer private messages on Roll20 when responding. Thanks

I have played dnd since 1986 or so. I have played everything from first edition to 5th although I skipped pathfinder. I enjoy serious campaigns although I attempt to interject a bit of humor here and there through RP. Currently playing a bard in one campaign and a cleric in another, one a womanizer, the other a not very bright zealot. I enjoy combat and rp, and am familiar with 5edition rules. I enjoy longer game sessions, so this seems like it's a good fit for me. Do you meet once a week? What classes/races are already in the game? Thanks
Yes we play every Saturday night. The group consists of a Moon Druid, Warlock/Rogue and Fighter (Battlemaster).
Chiming in as a player here, can definitely vouch that we love to have a good time. One thing I'd say we definitely appreciate as a group is someone who can engage the other characters, and collaboratively build that group vibe. In our last campaign the group had a really fun dynamic, if a bit nontraditional. If you're someone who loves vivid descriptions, unique (read: terrifying) monsters, and character development, this is definitely the game for you.

Can I join? I play a dragonborn barbarian. Do you need a better description than that? my discord name is MasterSpoonsei#6763
More information would be nice MisterSpoon.
Why are all the good games PST? If I didn't have work at 8am EST on Sundays I would be all over this.
Sorry DMDorkseid, maybe its time to find another job

Hello! I'm 19 and I am somewhat experiences as a player, though I DM frequently. I've been doing theater/improv for years and roleplay is the most important piece of any of this stuff to me. While I will sometimes put very serious emotion into my characters, I am still able to separate the game from reality and I don't throw a tantrum if things don't go my way haha. As a player I tend to favor utility over offense. By this I mean I will tend to pick spells/feats that are better used in roleplay than in battle, though a healthy mix is always present. I am in EST however I do nothing on the weekends so that time frame should fit fine for me. I'm a little quiet at first but I open up as time goes on. Hope to hear back :)! Let me know if you need any further info!
Hi and thanks for the reply. So the main question is can you commit to a weekly Saturday  night session that runs til around 4 AM EST? Let me know.
I can definitely commit to weekly Saturday night sessions. I can be present until 4 AM however I may begin to be a little less involved during the last hour or two as my brain slowly shuts down haha

Hello, i am 26 years old, and i have tried a few campaigns, and i am looking for another one to try. Edit: EST. I can commit to 3-4AM. I can most defiantly for the most part commit to a Saturday Game, if not i would be at most 30minutes late due to a work shift. I love home brews, they allow bigger and better ideas, and i love spending hours daily over the course of a week revamping a character concept. I love trying to role play. I want to have a good time, and play in a well established group. I dont mind being recorded. I think i would be a good fit for the group, because i dedicate so much time into a concept and trying to work it in as best i can, and i am generally more laid back and don't mind some criticism. As for all the wants, i am able to do all of that and possibly more. Hope to hear back. -Terrence.
