Map markers or pins with a tooltip

It would be very nice for GM's to have a marker they can throw on a map then mouse over it and get a text box pop-up; It would also be nice to be able to insert a text box instead of copy and paste and then try and arrange things into readable paragraphs instead of one long line of words.
I am surprised no one else thinks this is a good suggestion.Tool tips people. Think of the possibilities.

Alternatively, is there another website that let's you upload map images and mark them up with pins? Obsidian Portal does , but only one map unless you are a paid subscriber. You could just create a pin as a transparent png file and add text as you go. Not a perfect solution but a good workaround.

I think this is an awesome idea. I'd also like the ability to create index cards: add the card, then you can write text on it, erase it, modify it, drag the card around, etc. (You can do this with text already, but I want a backing that is separate from the map background so it's obviously a token)
Lovely idea! Drop pins, attach notes to the pins. Effectively, the pins would just be tokens, so it's the text pop-up part that's new.

Luke , regarding the text art tool, you can hit enter to create a new line thus preventing 'one long line'.

I understand this, but what I am talking about is if I copy/paste a paragraph from a PDF or something it would be nice to be able to drop the text into a box in the size/location that works best for me. The way its working now is that if I copy a paragraph from a pdf and drop into the text box it comes out in one long string. Am I doing something wrong?
This would be nice, so +1. Ability to set tooltips for tokens could serve many functions, not just the above mentioned ones. :)

Perhaps I am not understanding completely. What I understand: You are copying and pasting a paragraph into the text art tool and it is coming out as one long string? If I am correct in my understanding you can manually hit enter. In any case, I am only addressing how to use the tools we currently have, I do not (generally) comment on the suggestions themselves. :)
