Moving PCs to a new map

I've never used multiple maps, but plan on it in an upcoming adventure. My question: when I move PCs to a new map, do their tokens automatically move also? Or do I need to create new tokens on each map for them to use?  In my testing it looks like they do not move automatically, but I'd like to know for sure before we start this new adventure. No they don't. When you move the player ribbon, you are only moving the player's pov to that map. You would either have to copy paste the tokens to the new map or have their  tokens linked to their journals so you can drag and drop them onto the new map.
