Hi all, I frequently see new players eager to wet their teeth to start up but no games to host them. I'm here to help. I have been DMing groups on Roll20 and at the tabletop for about 2 years now. The only game I DM for is DnD 5e. I make my own stories and I roll with the punches that players send at me. The way I DM is only very rarely is combat the only way to get out of a situation or the 'aim' of the session. I encourage players to explore the world and to talk to NPCs. Most of all I want my players to have fun. I am in Australia and we are in GMT+10. Most of my games will start around 7pm Mon-Fri. The aim of these sessions is to have a short campaign (only 2 or 3 game sessions unless more are negotiated) to teach beginners the basics of DnD 5e and of Roll20. New players do not have to see this as a mandatory undertaking! Reading the PHB (Player's Handbook) the first time and bumbling through our first game is almost a rite of passage. The structure of the mini-campaign will be a session 0 to create characters although I am available via Discord or the Roll20 forums to discuss character creation. We will be playing a few sessions to get you off the ground and after that I will always have an open ear to answer any DM, Dnd or Roll20 questions. During the game I will be using voice only but feel free to use video via roll20. I will be asking for $5 for each player per session (including session 0) and I will do my best to make the game as fun and engaging for you. I will be encouraging you to role-play, make your own character decisions and and have fun. I will not be encouraging you to pick the best or strongest character to chomp through baddies. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/83655/dnd-5e-fo... I look forward to seeing you and answering any questions you may have! “This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $5 per player per session via PayPal. Frequency of games will vary and be agreed upon prior to first payment. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements."
