Looking for Group

So, im looking to get involved in a group on here. So far ive had no success in getting a group together locally as im fairly remotely located and there isnt a great deal of interest in those styles of games over here. Im personally very experienced with tabletop games, have oodles of hrs invested in gm'ing long running and short adventure campaigns, and playing in other people worlds. Im looking for either an existing group who play regularly, or am interested in potentially running games for a new group. Ive already started working on and compiling encounters, tiles, background tracks and loops etc if I ended up going that way. TLDR: If you are looking for another player for your group, or are interested in joining a new group, message me or comment. Times for me are very flexible, as are days and dates. Hope i hear from some people soon :)
If you don't mind sharing, what sort of games are you looking to play? Just as it'd be no fun for you to join a Bridge group when you really wanted to play Poker, it would be nice for prospective players / GMs to know at least a little bit about the types of games you want to play / are willing to run. Also, because it can matter when playing online, what timezone would you be playing from?
As far as what games, im really not too fussed about what i play. The experience is more important than the setting or mechanics for me. As to what games i run, i have experience with a huge variety of d20 and d10 based systems, including custom built systems that add to the suspense of disbelief by removing meta-based thinking. (oh look, its a goblin, it must have X hitpoint and deal X damage, so i should be safe kinda stuff). Timezone wise, im +8, but as a chronic insomniac who works from home who i play with and where doesnt really matter too much :)
i'm trying to run a steampunk pathfinder game. willing to GM but can play as well. im in eastern standard time(New York). i also don't mind what you guys are playing, i'll just be happy to be playing. i can run what ever too.
Personally it would be great if we could start a 3.0/3.5 DnD game or Anima.
Hey, I'd like to join up. I'm not very experienced at many games, (Obviously I know 3.5, 4.0, and some of the 5e playtest) but I'd be happy with most any campaigns if that's what you're doing. I'm EST, but playtimes are pretty flexible for me.
I dont really mind playing anything but if I had to choose Id like to play mutants and masterminds but I don't really care.
I'd like to join a group, just saw this was in open Beta and wanted to test it out, problem is: There isn't a way to look at games and at people looking to start one up. So, if anyone here is looking to start a game, get one going, etc, etc, I'd play.
If you guys are setting up a 3.0/3.5 game, I would be interested in joining. I would like to play at least once before starting my own game.

I would definitely play that; I just joined a local (California) Pathfinder group and it seems great so far. Steampunk seems like a good fit for the system, my medieval group already has Dr. Jekyll turning into Mr. Hyde whenever he gets angry, and then there are rules for guns... I will ask around too.
I'd love to play a DnD game. I've actually never played but have watched many videos online which has gotten me incredibly interested in it. Unfortunately no one around here play. So if you want a player but are willing to deal with minimal noobness (I'm a quick learner at table-top games) I would very much enjoy playing.
I'm getting more and more tempted to start up a new long-running campaign. I'll start a separate discussion .
OK, so it looks like i have a Fair amount of interest in a possible campaign/group here. So lets take it a step further. Please inbox me your Timezone (dont need specific location, just what GMT you are for organisational purposes), the days/times you would be available, whether you are looking for short adventure style, or long campagin play, and what experience you have with tabletop rpg's. As it stands, Im thinking my campaign will be run using a losely adapted version of the 3.5E ruleset, with a strong focus on atmosphere and roleplaying. If there is interest, id like to run the campaign long term on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. If i have 4-6 people who get back to me and will mesh with times etc, ill give you all a bit more information in regards to my GM'ing style, my expectations and the setting. If everyone likes what they see, and can meet at appropriate times, then ill get this party started :)

Gonna bump this cos im really keen to get a game started
OK, as it stands it LOOKS like i have 2 players from around the -7 GMT timezone. Both fairly flexible as far as times go. If i get just a little more interest ill be able to kick this off in the immediate future. Anybody else interested?
I'm also interested. I'll be sending you a message in your inbox.
I am, depending on when you intend to play, and curious about adaptations
David I pm'd you
For everyones reference, this group is (currently) closed. Im pretty happy with the group ive currently got, if anything changes ill let anyone who is still interested know. I may also expand on the group size if i see the opportunity to and deem it worthwhile. Game Details for Future Reference: Games are run Weekly, 3pm PST/6pmEST on Tuesdays, with possible additional sessions Wednesdays at approx same times. Sessions last between 2-4 hrs. The campaign is planned to be extremely long running, with a focus on storytelling, immersion, character development and effective RP'ing. The campaign uses 3.5E DnD rules, loosely, with additional rules and systems as governed by need.
