In the campaign I'm participating in, I've been putting together some macros with nested roll queries in them (with HTML replacements for certain characters). However, in my debugging process of those macros, the campaign chat has encountered an error. The issues are thus: The in-game chat only displays entries before a certain point, not the most recent. Once a new in-game chat entry is made, the chat will collapse all roll template entries so that nothing can be seen inside them. The chat archive shows all the new entries but they cannot be seen in the in-game chat, meaning everyone would have to constantly refresh the chat archive in order to play. The issues persist for all players, GM included. I am using the latest version of google chrome on Windows 7, if that information helps Below is an example of the chat when I first join the game: Once I type something in the chat box and hit enter, the following occurs: (The area under black outlined white box contains profanities so it was edited) Note the collapsed boxes that once had roll templates in them. Below is a picture of the chat archive where you can clearly see there is more content below the last viewable entries in the in-game chat: I'm currently under the impression that something in my nested roll query macros caused the issue. I believe it stems from the macro editing box automatically converting HTML code to their actual values, which causes nested roll queries to perform differently. The GM spent a lot of time working on this campaign and I would hate to have this mistake completely ruin what he had made. What could be done to fix the issue? I can post the macros on request, but beware they are messy to read. Thanks, Andre D.
