Good evening, I'm starting a 2nd edition AD&D game on Fridays at 9 PM GMT. Would like to use the core rules and some of the supplements for character creation, the Player options is a more case by case basis. The idea is to run a sandbox game with multiple plots being presented, and you the players will then pick which adventure you go on. There is currently no grand plot planned, it will be various adventurers which you can embark on, and from there I will see whether I can stitch plot events together and make the game more interesting. A willingness to read the core rulebook is required. While I am more than happy to assist with getting to know the game, it will be expected that players who have never played AD&D to take time out to read and learn the rules (support will be provided to optimise the character and the concepts during creation of course). Just to be upfront so potential players knows what kind of DM I will be, I like to promote player activity and then work with decisions to make them come to life. Of course working within the guidelines of the RPG system. I'm not an encyclopaedic knowledge book for the rules and have often happily made snap shot decisions to keep the pace moving, hence if you're a great fan of strictly following rules as written at all cost, then I will not be the DM for you.
