Good day! I'm new to both roll20 and DnD. For DM's or groups who doesn't mind a rather vanilla character (and thanks to a kind soul helping me out with creating my first character sheet) what I can offer to your game is: Name : Garland Trueblade Race : Human Class : Fighter Age : Early 30's Alignment : Chaotic Good Archetype : Linebreaker; Armored Knight; Soldier; Typical Plate n' Mail bloke. Basic Info : A former sergeant of the king's army (depending on the world setting of the DM, which army he was part of is negotiable) who has fought on several campaigns until the death of his commander. The new commander was more of a fop instead of a battle-hardened warrior, and Garland made the mistake of getting riled up to the point of punching him on the face. Dishonored and decommissioned, but glad that he did Garland took up the life of adventuring. Going to where glory and gold takes him to be, but willingly still uphold his own values of conduct. As a run-of-the-mill force of good, Garland doesn't back down from a fight when tortured innocents are involved. Due to his impulsive nature however, this could normally put him in a bad spot. This is prevalent in his fighting style, as he eschews a shield in favor for a greatsword and/or maul. Literally thinks he can tank things with his face. Personality Quirk : Almost always never seen without his visored barbute on. (Picture for ref). He eats and sleeps with it, also gets annoyed if someone tries to take it off without his permission. This could lead to some comical/awkward moments. (He swears he's not hiding a tentacled aberration inside it!). Player Information Name: Gavin Age: 28 DnD 5e Experience: None. Eager to learn. Only ever made that character sheet above and that's it. (Of course that's the summary, I have an actual physical and digital copy of the sheet saved). Other roleplaying experience: Lots. Mostly text RP, but never something like DnD. What I'm looking for: Roleplay aspect. Character-building. A fancy good time. A group who enjoys progressive team-building, and generally just enjoy fun. What I normally enjoy playing as: Vanilla-ish, run-of-the-mill characters with quirky personal characteristics that makes them slightly stand apart from their peers, and zero-to-hero storylines. Disclaimer (Why 18+?) I enjoy playing with like-minded adults. Personal experience prevents me from going to all-ages groups in tabletop games again. *shudders* Why are you still reading this? Sign me up for greatness! Pick me, pick me!
