Hey everyone! Dan here coming at you with a Cross-group one shot opportunity! (12 max unless i can get another GM to help then we can go to 24) Escape From Hell! What do you get when an ancient god of death and life comes back after a 10,000 year period of rest and begins using his powers once more without much control? You get unexpected portals out of hell. With Lord Arduk making his return and reviving two people, he has unfortunately left behind a rift in the afterlife. This is of course a VERY BAD THING....and yet, you can benefit from this. Millions have died throughout history, some have been very personal and recent deaths such as frozen fae spikes to the gut or a Necromancer throwing a last desperate fireball. Your characters are dead and currently rotting away in hell, but they have a chance to escape! The Devil in charge of your eternal torment has noticed the rift near his domain and has decided to hold a tournament as a form of entertainment. Under his rules you must fight against one another until only one person is left standing, while the rest experiences a fate worse than death *erasure* as their soul stops existing entirely. Will you follow his rules and kill your companions to return to the living? Will you sacrifice yourself for the betterment of the world? As a rule I show preference to first come first serve while taking into account those that haven't had a cross group opportunity yet. In an effort to keep things competitive and encourage cross group interaction I will also be limiting how many people from a single group can join in. You may choose to play any dead character, this means you can fight to bring back your group's most beloved characters such as Garrick or Blowguh, or you may choose to play as NPCs you have met (or not) and fight for their right to live. All characters will be at level 5 to keep the playing field even. If you choose an NPC let me know by Wednesday night so i can prep the sheet for you.
