[New] Adventure to test new sheet (3-5 players) PDT

I'd like to run a game to try the new sheet, it would be a published scenario to choose between: 1) The Star Chamber: perfect for new players, introduce the game in a weird but non lethal way 2) Controlcopy: I run it before, great scenario fun to run (might take up to 2 session) 3) Reverberation: perfect for your first day at the race, focused on DEA agents 4)Observer Effect: beautiful hard scenario, for more experienced agents 5) Lover in the Ice: hard and long, but intriguing. And definitely a lot of TW:sexualassualt given the nature of the creature (18+) Some of this adventures (Lover in the Ice and Controlcopy) are almost set up, others requires some work on my side. In any case, if and when enough player apply and give a preference, we can start. The weekend would work better for me, I'm in the PDT (-8:00) but I'm pretty flexible. If you like my handling, we might thing to make it into a regular bi/tri-weekly thing :)

Hey Marco, I'm interested in playing.  I recently ran Lover In The Ice, so my preference is to see something new, but if people are hoping to play it, I'm fine with playing in it as well.  I am also in the Pacific time zone and prefer weekends.  I'd definitely need to schedule around things in the next few months as there are a couple cons I'm going to, but I'm sure we can work something out.

Ok so, Zac, John, Jibril, and John. You are in.  I would say single  organization either FBI or DEA, mixed DOE if you want to try the observer effect :) I'm free during the weekend. If you are down, I might try to set up a game by Sunday, if it's completely new by next week.

I can't do the 24th because I have a concert that night. How about next Friday or Saturady?

I would say Saturday since probably you want to go out Friday night. If it's Saturday I might be able to handle even early in the morning. I'm PTD and I work during the week sometimes till 7-8pm (11pm your time), so it would be great for me Thursday but I don't want to keep you up to late. As soon as we have a new confirmation we can start organizing. This Saturday might work, but it's really short notice, next Saturday or Friday is more likely (even next Thursday sounds good, but as I said the game might start at 11pm your time and might go 2-4 hours)

Hi guys, Jibril already has a game this Saturday (Oct 7th), I would say tomorrow but I have a deadline a need to finish by this week. So the first available day (and subject to moving) is Sunday(after 1PM UTC). I can confirm for certain Friday night. Let me know if it would be a good time for everybody. If not, we need to move to next week (Friday or Saturday would be great days since Jibril is in Europe and probably need to work during the week)

Saturday 10/14 works for me. Does 7am-10 PST (9am-12pm CST) looks good to start? If we play in the morning is probably better for the one who is in Europe (it should be 2-5pm). If you have already a character you want to use let me know. Try to agree on the Agency (FBI is a jolly works basically with any group as a liaison ). My proposal are: 1) DEA (a couple of adventures, one is a DG recruiting one) 2) USSS (if you want to try an adventure about defending the current US president) 3) DOE/EPA (for Observer Effect) 4) National Park Service Ranger/Tribal Police (Operation Fulminate)

I'm also good with any agency, full disclosure, I've at least skimmed all the scenarios listed except reverb, but don't have a problem reining in my meta game knowledge for any of them. I think that means 1000-1300 EST, that sound about right?

John: To be honest, I read maybe Operation Fulminate is gameable knowing the story, but the Observer Effect is really hard even after reading it 3-4 time. I don't expect the Agent to "solve" the problem, just to die with style :D :D :D

Observer Effect more than others :) You read something like the Night Floor or Controlcopy or Future/Perfect or Lovers in the Ice and you think: "unless it's a perfect game at least one will die" (and usually is the opposite of a perfect game. You read Observer Effect... you read it again to be sure... well just a third time... "Holy shit is this even beatable" It's probably the most interesting scenario so far. If you like science fiction and horror, it reminds me of Peter Cline's The Fold, one of the best books that came out in the past 2-3 years

So far I've had tpks in Victim of the Art. I've run it three times and every time the players die horrific deaths

I've survived control copy. Not without some San loss though.

In my case everybody survived except one, and that one was taken on the side and tasked to try to kill everybody else. They didn't see it coming but survived anyway :D

Ok I choose the scenario. You are either DOE/EPA or FBI. It's better if at least one of you has high HUMINT. There will probably be a lot of interviews. Physics and Computer Science/Electronics helps. You can send me your background/character sheet or I can provide you with a pregen. Let me know

Sundays do not for me at all. Next Saturday is also hosed for me too

I'd be interested in playing one of these premade missions. Unfortunatly saturday is completely full for me. Sunday is ok and maybe some weekdays will work. My timezone is GMT+0. Im completely new to DG, but im not new to roleplaying having played for 6 years. I have played CoC, and have basic knoweldge having listened to shadow over insmouth and other stories on youtube, played Call of Cthulhu dark corners of the earth, The Secret World and watched True Detective season 1. Though im aware there are other entities in the stories i know nothing about.

Oooh I love The Secret World. Anyway, I have the adventure ready. Delta Green is a simplified version of the old CoC with a smart way to offset SAN loss (the bonds), and where your attributes don't influence your skills.  Also the gunfight has been streamlined. If you need to check the rules I suggest the free "need to know" pdf. It's everything you need to play. I can this Thursday, Friday, and Monday after 7 PST. After the 30th I will be in Italy for 1 week so I will be more flexible with the time. Since Zac and John are busy this weekend I would put the game date to a vote :)

I'll check out the pdf. Friday is a good day for me. So is early Sunday and Thursday.
