Speed and efficiency (Nesting / Query Macros for NPC stats)

I scoured the forums but couldn't find an answer to my question... I have a macro for rolling stats in my 5e D&D game, but is there a way nest the macro to auto assign those rolls to a stat, say- for quick and random monster generating, so that I don't have to waste prep time on filling attribute blocks or worse, pause my game for some random encounter.  the Stat roller I'm currently using: (if you have a better one, I'm all ears!) &{template:default} {{name= Ability Scores}} {{[[4d6r1dl1]]}} {{[[4d6r1dl1]]}} {{[[4d6r1dl1]]}} {{[[4d6r1dl1]]}} {{[[4d6r1dl1]]}} {{[[4d6r1dl1]]}} Follow up question, is there a way to insert a query / dice roll query for HP, AC, SPD, etc. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time
Unfortunately setting values through macros requires the help of the API (a pro subscription feature)
