Hello, I've recently bein' thinking about becoming a plus or pro user, but i'm curious about a point : does my players need to be pro or plus aswell to see dynamic lighting ? thanks in advance
Nope, only the GM needs the plus or pro level, users can all be the free version. You can also set one of your players as the GM if you are not the one running the game, they can use all the higher level features as well.
I have a quick follow-up to this question: If I buy the Wizards of the Coast module Tomb of Annihilation, does that package have dynamic lighting built in, or will its dynamic lighting feature only be enabled if I have a plus or pro account?
Ziechael said: The dynamic lighting is built in... BUT... will only be activated for plus/pro game creators Thanks for that clarification Ziechael. It seems like a pretty decent price for the module, but I would need to factor in the subscription fee to play it for however many months too.
Many game creators (GM's) talk to their group and have them pool money for subscription needed. If you have 5 players then it only cost them $2 USD per month till the game is over.
Good point Pat, and if you are only interested in the dynamic lighting and not anything that Pro brings to the table (pun intended) then it would only be $1 a month for a group of 5... that's not even the price of <insert something that costs more than a dollar here>! :)
