Both newbies and experienced players are welcome. It is a requirement that all players have a working microphone and a Google Plus account, as we will be using Google Hangouts for audio. The first session will be on Saturday 4th January, 2014 at the aforementioned time. It is expected that all players will have access to a copy of the Labyrinth Lord core rules, which can be downloaded for free from: http://goblinoidgames.com/labyrinthlord.html LABYRINTH LORD The Rosetta Stone of Old-School Fantasy Role-Playing Games! The Labyrinth Lord fantasy role-playing game allows you to experience the game play of the retro-editions of the world’s most popular fantasy role-playing game! The Labyrinth Lord core rules emulate the rules and game play experience of the 1981 edition of the world’s most popular fantasy role-playing game.
Hi Andrew. Can you tell me what modules (if any) you plan on running, or if you intend to use a specific campaign setting? Thanks!
im interested but wait what time would this be in PST.
Sean, I am going to be running an OSR module called 'The Village of Larm' by Moritz Mehlem. It was written for Labyrinth Lord and published by Brave Halfling Publishing a few years ago. The village is an ideal starting location, but there is nothing stopping the characters from exploring further and seeking out other adventures, if they so choose. It would be cool to run some of the old modules in the future, if players stay on. I'm using the default setting for Labyrinth Lord, the Known Lands/Duchy of Valnwall, which is evidently inspired by the Known Lands from the 1981 Expert D&D rules, and the Grand Duchy of Karameikos. I might be throwing bits of Greyhawk in as well, primarily some of the deities.
Luckybutt, Online sources tell me that 8.00PM GMT would be 12 noon PST. You might want to confirm that for yourself, though. I believe that if you look at the Looking for Group page, the time will show up in your local timezone.

There's still space for a few more players.
That time conversion is correct. Good luck filling out your group! I wish the timing were different--I would love to play.
I'm hoping to jump into your game at some point actually, Shaun. :-)
I certainly hope you do! If the day of the week is an issue for you, please feel free to suggest a different specific day in the scheduling thread so we can make it happen.
Will do.
There's room for one more player in my Labyrinth Lord game.
