How do you guys do secret doors?

I snip tool my maps from pdfs. The maps I am getting have variable settings, one of which is Player View and hides traps and secret doors and such. The only solution I have found is to create tokens of the portions of the map where secret doors can be found, and then overlay those portions when the PCs discover the doors. Are there any slicker solutions?
You could pre-place the secret door sections on the map, only put them on the GM layer. Then if / when the PCs discover one, move the section up to the map or object layer.
For most purposes my PCs have the stats to find them anyway. I just have the on the map.

You could also use the full map and obscure the secret passages with a drawn shape. That also helps with Dynamic Lighting to keep players accidentally seeing something they shouldn't
You can crop portions of the GM view of the map and put it on the GM layer, then send it to the map layer when they find them. Then it's not accidentally clickable for you either. Also, if you're using the interactive maps from paizo, I applaud you. Those things are horrible.
Obscure the secret area with Fog of War and draw a little line of sight blocker segment when doing your dynamic lighting to be double dog sure. When they find and open the door you can click on the little line segment and delete it and expose the FoW area.
