[LF2P] [Shadowrun] [Fridays @ 1900 EST/EDT]

Hello everyone, I am looking for two players to replace some departures my game recently had.  The game is Shadowrun 5e , and the time is 7pm EST/EDT (currently -4 GMT) each Friday .  Each session lasts about 4 - 5 hours.  The game will use voice, and I have a Discord server set up for this. The game is still relatively new, but there has been one large meandering run completed.  Characters are to be done as per the basic starting rules, but I will be throwing a bit of karma and nuyen to bring new characters in line with the current characters. I'm hoping to use a few hours during this week to chat with new players and get characters set up. Thank you for your time, Pete

Can you tell me about the characters and what roles you have filled at the moment? Also the primary location of your runs? Seattle?

The primary location for runs is Seattle.  There may be trips elsewhere in the world, but Seattle is the major focus. A bit of a blurb I typed out in response to a PM, should give you a bit more information. Peter B. said: Basically, so far, the background setting is the current goings on in Boston, the condition known as CFD. The story, however, is based in Seattle. The players took on a job for Bull, the renowned decker who is one of the OPs for Jackpoint. Bull was looking for a man named Richard Deckard, one of the unnamed members of the original Echo Mirage team, and one of the few surviving ones. Deckard is apparently knowledgeable of CFD, and may have information useful to combat it. So Bull arranged the auction, and theft of, an original deck used to combat the Crash virus of 2029. The deck happened to have belonged to Deckard and long thought to be lost. This culminated in a clash in a downtown bar involving the FBI, the Halloweeners, the mafia and a retired Stonewall Jackson tank. Deckard promised to get back to Bull, and pretty much everyone is in hiding to let things cool off. In the course of the run, the team helped an AI and a technomancer escape the clutches of the mafia. The AI has gained employment as a bartender in a new robot body. The technomancer has hired the team (the current run) to help rescue her father, mother and sister from mafia safehouses. We were running with just three players, I was loathe to make an LFG post because there is always more demand and I hate saying no to what sound like good players. But with our decker player having to bow out, having two spots open was too much. The remaining characters are a gunfu adept and a character that appears to be a sniper. So you have a pretty wide range of characters to choose from, you are unlikely to be stepping on anyone's toes. Also, Peter B. said: Current year is 2079, and the current date is today's date. Which will be adjusted when necessary. Basically the two current characters are a gunfu adept and a street samurai just starting out (no cyberware!).  So there is plenty of room for you to make a character, and not have to worry about overlap.  I've been covering 'missing' characters with contacts/NPCs
