New Player Looking For A Group, 5e?

Hello there! I used to play when the first versions of D&D came out. I had some of the best times of my life playing this wonderful game. I still have some of the old books. It would be nice to find a group of players that are a bit older and would accept a newcomer like myself. Perhaps 30,40,50 or older? Thanks for your time :-)
Hey Brian. As I'm a paid DM, the majority of my players fall into a slightly older age group, and are working professionals. I'd be happy to have you join us, and no problem in helping you get used to the new system. The LFG listing isn't up yet, but I'm currently organising players for a paid West Marches (WM) campaign. Obligatory WM explanation: West Marches is a sandbox world, where many players (couple dozen?) are based in a single town/city. It's more RP and exploration based, as you explore the surrounding world and find landmarks, quests, dungeons. The most interesting part is that players do not belong to a fixed party but can mingle around. Session play times are determined by players (Somebody goes "Who wants to play this Wed?" and a few others join in), but generally start and end in town, with occasional exceptions. The world will change in response to player actions (clearing a dungeon, helping a local tribe, starting a forest fire) and players are encouraged to share information about their discoveries of the world with each other. The storyline develops in response to player sessions and missions they accomplish. There's also more focus on downtime activities, since players are based in one place. From building a house to starting a family to organising a local cult, it's much more sandboxy and RP opportunities abound. What it means is that sessions happen any time, any day. Just express interest in the group and find a couple other players who can make the same time as you. If you're interested, PM me here or on Discord at UnityNooblet#3614
Hey Brain, i feel the same way about D&D. You free to play Mon or Tue afternoons?

Brian, You should put your time zone in your profile. It helps GMs and players choose you.
