Greetings, I am new to roll 20 and it was recommended to me by my old GM. I have recently returned to college and haven't been able to find a game near me. I haven't had any luck with roll 20's tool for searching games so I'm posting here. I've only ever played D&D 5E and Star Wars; Edge of the empire but I'm interested in other games as well. I prefer an 18+ nothing-is-sacred environment. By that I mean I've grown accustomed to playing with close friends who aren't offended by anything unless you attack them personally, we joke about everything in game and out of character (though politics and other sociological topics are best avoided to to their ability to be polarizing) and I believe its going to be hard to find a similar group of players. With that in mind I have also considered starting my own campaign granted I can both find like minded players and purchase the appropriate materials for hosting one. Besides the ones I've mentioned, I'm also interested in the following games and game categories: Halo Mythic 2.0 Beta anything Warhammer 40K related The star ship troopers game (its pretty old by now but its out there) High Fantasy games Sci fi games vampire/demons post apocalypse games Alien (base on Ridley Scott's movie franchise of the same name) homebrew games and more... the best way to reach me is by adding me to discord Psytato#8344 EDIT: free games only, 18+ only
The LFG listing isn't up yet, but I'm currently organising players for a paid West Marches (WM) campaign. Obligatory WM explanation: West Marches is a sandbox world, where many players (couple dozen?) are based in a single town/city. It's more RP and exploration based, as you explore the surrounding world and find landmarks, quests, dungeons. The most interesting part is that players do not belong to a fixed party but can mingle around. Session play times are determined by players (Somebody goes "Who wants to play this Wed?" and a few others join in), but generally start and end in town, with occasional exceptions. The world will change in response to player actions (clearing a dungeon, helping a local tribe, starting a forest fire) and players are encouraged to share information about their discoveries of the world with each other. The storyline develops in response to player sessions and missions they accomplish. There's also more focus on downtime activities, since players are based in one place. From building a house to starting a family to organising a local cult, it's much more sandboxy and RP opportunities abound. What it means is that sessions happen any time, any day. Just express interest in the group and find a couple other players who can make the same time as you. If you're interested, PM me here or on Discord at UnityNooblet#3614
