When I go to the drop down menu for the "Playing" option when I'm setting up a game, LotFP isn't there. But the character sheet exists. I think someone forgot to put that option up there.
That's not how it works. The pull down list of games is updated by the Roll20 staff based on the games being played on Roll20. It is not connected to the character sheets.
Yeah, I'm aware it's not connected to the character sheets. In the details section of the game I'm hosting the Lamentations of the Flame Princess option is not available to me. I think this is something on your end, unless I can edit/add custom entries? Edit: the Devs end, not yours. Unless you're a dev. I'm basically invisible in the LFG forums without this option.
Games must meet a minimum threshold of popularity before they are listed in the dropdown. Be sure to put the name and/or genre of the game you are playing prominently in the description. See the wiki for more: https://wiki.roll20.net/Looking_for_Group#Create_L
The games dropdown menu exist to help standardize the options available
(example: 4E vs. 4th Edition vs. D&D4, etc). No matter how many
games are listed, some may not make the cut. Games are added to the list
periodically. This ensures obscure listings gain greater visibility
when sorted via the Other Games option and helps keep away “empty” search listings for underrepresented titles. If
you feel a game should be listed, encourage your community members to
play and post often. The more community attention a title receives the
more likely it is to be added to the list.
