Not sure of where to post this exactly here or the API forums. I've found a couple old threads about a similar issue, but they are closed, and I didn't want to attempt to resurrect those older threads. So I'm still relatively new at macro's, API's and Roll20 in general. Here's what I'm looking to accomplish. I would like to be able to have a room description to dump into the chat window for my players. The older threads I've seen talk about using a token that you can select and use a macro to kick that description over to the chat, or even using something a bit more complex like the token collisions so when the players cross a threshold to a room that description kicks over into the chat, kind of like the It's a Trap script. What's the best way to do this? What's the easiest way to do this? I don't doing some learning. I think it will make my life easier in the long run, if I can refer them back to a text description of what they see in a particular room. Sometimes I'm apt to forget the occasional detail while I'm DM'ing especially if I have got a lot going on. I just thought of this, you should be able to link a player handout with a picture of said room if you have one right? Thanks
