[LFG][GMT+1] Player seeking game, will consider paying

Hello there my fellow roll20ians. I write to you in hope that i can find myself a game this time! THIS POST is mainly towards DnD 5th Edition, but i will strongly consider other games as well, though then of course you'd have to teach me the ropes. The times that fit me are; 6 pm to 11 pm CEST or soon to be GMT+1 MON TUE WED THURS I have been without a game for far too long, i believe my last actual player experience was over a year and a half ago. I have since the begining of my DnD career been what some people seem to call the "forever DM". BUT I LOVE IT. I love it so much. Though there are certain things you can only experience as a player, thusly i am looking for something that i can experience as a player. I myself run homebrew, i have played in homebrew. There has been a lot of homebrew. Even homebrewing the homebrew. So i have come to the conclusion that i want to play in the official campaigns from wizards of the coast. I have a preference of which i would like to try first. But in all honesty it's not that strong of a preference to any of them that it would actually matter if you as a DM would prefer to run A over B, i would be happy to join in either way! TWO THINGS though, one is that i refuse to play the yawning portal. It's dungeons, not a campaign. And i wish to have a campaign where i can interact with the world as well. The second is I refuse to play any kind of West marches style of campaign. I also can't play with someone who doesn't use the dynamic lightning system, thusly the DM needs to have access to it^ If you though, believe yourself to be an excellent DM who has something really cool and unique to offer you can count me in no matter what kind of 5e you are running. But why the heck would you pick me, someone who writes a long LFG forum post and believes that he deserves to have top quality!? I offer consistency. Being a DM i know how it feels when people are late or simply don't tell you when they won't make it. I bring originality. Cool character concepts which you hopefully haven't seen before. I LOVE roleplaying to the extent that i will go full dive into that the second i can and stay there for the entire session I'm a lorewhore. Yep. I love lore. I will sell myself for the lore. Expect me to question everydetail of your world! I'm calm, collected and i can also be funny if i don't try to much. SO! If you are or run any of the following, please pick me up i am at this point so desperate for a good game and a great group that i don't know what will happen if i go without DnD for longer. Mature group Experienced DM Open to talk and work with your players and their characters Preferably running any of the WOTC modules (and even more preferred starting with LMOP and going onwards to something else) Or running a super cool homebrew world filled with lore and adventure And you're looking for something like this; 24 year old Swede with as many accents as tattoos Experience roleplayer and DM (pushing 3.5k hours) Teamplayer Keen and interested Knows the rules to 5e by heart Will consider paying for your campaign if that's what you're running
As a fellow "forever GM" I feel your plight. It likely won't fit well with your timezone, but on the off chance you keep odd/late hours I'll mention my posting for a replacement player for my long-term 5e group. Best of luck finding a group! https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/90448/heroes-of...
Check out https://discord.gg/67yhz6 were a community of D&D players focused on 5e Adventure League. Feel free to stop in and lurk for a bit. We tend to do 1 and Done Adventure League content (though there is some homebrew available). We cater to folks with flexible schedules this way allowing you to play\DM when you want. We form up an ad hoc group on the fly using some conventions in Discord and then were off and adventuring sometimes with as little as 30 minutes notice. There is a run almost nightly for new players. My next game is likely tomorrow night but someone else is likely running one tonight.
Just noticed your TZ. I generally DM for the EU crowd on weekends. Sat. and Sun. evenings about 8(GMT)
