Character Vault Issue

When I import certain characters to a new game they wont appear, but a few others I sent over to the same game are, any reason, they all are from games that dont exist anymore, so is there an outlying solution?

When you export a Character from the Vault into a Game, the  In Player's Journals permissions of that Character get reset (if those permissions are not set to 'All Players'). This means that if you export a Character into a Game that you are not a GM in, you will not see that Character within your Journal until that Game's GM updates the exported Character's permissions. Does this sound like it may explain what you're experiencing?
